I could run any other games I have fine and I don't have any problems with DirectX. As dxdiag utility shows no error and I could test the Direct3D device without errors. Here's a solution/workaround that I found it working For Fitgirl's repacks, If u have 8GB or less RAM, Check the 2GB limit RAM usage of setup.The main problem was that my computer is running at wide-screen resolution of 1680*1050 that the game doesn't like.Rehash the setup files, If there is a torrent for it.Run "sfc /scannow" & then "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" in CMD (admin).Use "Disk Cleanup" to delete unwanted files.Install with Windows 7 Compatibility mode.Install in another HDD or Drive (& Not Drive C).Add the setup & game's folder & also your Windows temp folder to ur Antivirus exclusion.
